MISSIONS • «New Homeland» Mission «New Homeland» Situation:
Nowadays about 3 million ex-citizens of USSR live in Federative Republic of Germany. The most of them moved there from a country in which the mentality of community prevailed and there were other cultural fundamentals; they were looking for a better life in a free democratic society. However, those people were not absolutely ready for the life in such sircumstances. Unknown customs, other mentality, new laws of social co-existance in an environment of such close to them and, suddenly, such alien Germans. Havinf found themselves in their new motherland, emigrants recognized that nobody waited for them. In their homeland, in the native Union, there were persecuted, they were «fascists», «foreigners», and when they came to Germany, they became «Russians», and Germans treated them very suspiciously. Estrangement, disappointment, nostalgia, pain, stress became a usual emotional background in their families. The abyss between «Russian Germans» and the society where they live is getting wider. Older people miss the «old good» times because they have no friends any longer. Children are grown in Russian-speaking «ghetto» where they feel rejection very keenly. They grow into a community characterized by language feature what frequently turns into a criminal underground. Organized crime is going to develop out from those springs, extremist and terrorist organizations recruit their «staff» of such rejected people.
Even a shifted plant is sick for some time. The government of FRG made a great work to organize emigration and housing of ethnic Germans, but forgot about their adaptation and integration into individualistic community with absolutely different mentality and culture. We want to fill this cultural and spiritual deficiency in community of our own ex-nationals. Time is working against us. So if we don’t start to solve this problem tomorrow we’ll be late.
God put into the hearts of bishop of UCECLG Sergiy Balyuk and minister of the Church of Living God in Mukachevo Stanislav Didenko to share Word of God with Russian-speaking population of Germany. By their efforts it was established the mission «New Homeland», the goal of which is to serve people who found their new Homeland there.

• This is the emblem of the mission «New Homeland»
Our desire is:
To help Russian Germans to adapt at new homeland and integrate into new social environment through changes of their thinking. To create communities, cultural organizations for satisfaction of spiritual needs of emigrants from countries of ex-USSR. To implant Christian values into them and preach the Christian ethics. To bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ. «For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved» (The Bible, Acts, 4:12).
We believe that through conversion of «Russian Germans» to Jesus there will come the spiritual revival into Germany and Europe. Germany accepted those people and now they can become a blessing for Germany and other countries. The mission «New Homeland» wants to help people to find a new Homeland on the earth and especially on heaven.
