Roma Christian Evangelic Church of the Living God in Uzhgorod

Date of foundation – July 27, 1999.

Uzhgorod is the regional center of Transcarpathia, situated on the very border with Slovakia. Roma camp in Uzhgorod is one of the largest in Transcarpathia. There are a Roma school, a kindergarten in the camp. General church services are held on Sundays, in the rented building. Usually more than 100 Roma attend our services, the majority of whom are members of our Church. During a week believers gather at home groups, there are five of them.
The range of activities of our Church includes:
• youth ministry – we share the Gospel with the youth of our camp;
• monthly we hold the Biblical leadership seminar.
Our vision:
• orphans ministry in the camp;
• widows ministry in the camp.
Now we are praying for:
• possibility to buy or build the Prayer House;
• financing of the ministries for orphans and widows of our camp;
• amplifier equipment for arrangement of evangelizing services in the air;
• spiritual growth of members of the Church.
